It's been a week since the new semester started. I decided to go and experience all modules before I write about the modules I am taking this semester. So, this semester I take 5 modules.
CS1102C - Data Structures and Algorithms
This module is the continuation of CS1101C (Programming Methodology) which I took last semester. While last semester we learned more about syntax, this semester we concentrate more on the data structures and algorithms. However, we are going to use C++ instead of C language. This module is 5 MC, as expected. I think this one will be the toughest for this semester.
MA1506 - Mathematics II
This module is also the continuation of last semester module, MA1505 (Mathematics I). In the second part, we learned mostly about differential equations. So far, the module could be very interesting. Moreover, the lecturer is still the same as the first one.
CS2100 - Computer Organisation
For this semester, I take two level 2000 modules, and this is one of them. The main objective of this module is for us to familiarize how computer works. For instance, how memory is stored in the computer. I spent 700+ points to get this module. = ='
Thus, I have to do well for it!
EE2006 - Digital Device
This is the other level 2000 module. I just recently knew that this module is actually for year 2 EE (electrical engineering) students. I don't know if this is a big mistake by taking this module this semester, but still it's just another tough module. Anyway, this module should be very interesting despite that.
ACC1002X - Financial Accounting
A popular module! Almost every single student in NUS would like to take this module! In the lecture theater, you can see people from all 1st to 4th year students from different faculties. This module the basic of any business module and it is actually very useful to upon our graduation. I decided to try this module this semester as my fifth module this semester.
The first four are actually my core modules. Although I only take 5 modules this semester, I must be grateful that I am not greedy. My core modules are actually quite time consuming since there are labs session for each of them. Moreover, I need to read A LOT for those modules. I just bought two new textbooks for financial accounting and computer organisation. It's because the new edition just published this year and it has quite a difference with the last edition.
Another thing that I need to consider is the special programme for computing. Since last semester result is quite good, I have a chance to apply for this special programme. I'm still considering it. I think I'll make my decision tomorrow.
Well, that's for this semester. Things are getting more and more heat up. I'm starting to feel the pace of struggling harder! (But, I think I will start pacing up after the CNY. XD)
